2003 – Foundation
SES is established by Martin Scattergood and Shao-Lun Liaw with a vision to advance proprietary RFID antenna and wireless identification technologies.
2004 – 2015 – Industrial and Card Innovation
SES pioneers ultra-thin RFID integration for premium smart cards, including international poker tournaments and Pokémon, and develops rugged industrial laundry tags designed for high-pressure commercial environments.
2016 – 2019 – Automotive Mobility
WIRETX® is launched, enabling RFID to survive tire vulcanization and deliver full lifecycle traceability for automotive and mobility applications.
2022 – Biometric Identity Leadership
BIOMTX® expands SES into high-security fingerprint authentication, integrating advanced biometric technologies approved for government and international identity applications.
2023 – 2024 – Battery-Free Sensing
UMTX® sensor technologies are introduced for infrastructure, industrial, and smart building monitoring with zero-maintenance requirements.
2025 – 2026 – Digital Product Passport
ZEUSTX® launches to support the next generation of Digital Product Passport, EV battery, and industrial traceability applications.
